The Story Makers

The curious one who asks “why?” a little too often and believes that good stories come from great collaboration.

I’ve been working for over 10 years now, but the journey’s been anything but a straight line.
I started out at Zomato in 2015, moved on to Runnr as a manager, then Fuller Life, before taking the leap into creative work.
I began as an aerial pilot, and over the years I’ve flown through 50+ projects with brands like Prestige Construction, MP Tourism, Brigade, Embassy Group, TVS Motors, and more.

I’ve also had the chance to work on 100+ government survey projects, contribute to rescue operations with the NDRF, Indian Army, and State Police during the Coorg floods, and support surveillance during the Covid lockdown. Somewhere along the way, I started producing films too – including music videos with Brodha V, Raghu Dixit, and Jordindian – and never really looked back.

Today, I’ve produced multiple ad films with brands like ITC, Microsoft, TATA Motors, Puma, Fastrack, and Aditya Birla Fashion. That journey, and the people I met along the way, inspired me to start this company with a few long-time collaborators – a space where we could do bigger and better brand work together.

Outside of work, I’m a nature-loving, antique-collecting, crystal-hoarding, chocolate-wrapper-preserving kind of person. My mum once got me chocolates from abroad – I didn’t care about the chocolates, but the wrapper? I kept it. And that’s how the collecting began.

I love making films because it brings together different minds, different skills, and a whole lot of energy. I’m into animation, thrillers, horror-comedy, and all things fiction. One day, I hope to be one of the biggest producers in India. And I know I’ll get there — with the people I work with and the stories we choose to tell.

Being a twin, the most common questions I’ve been asked over the years are: Are y’all twins? Are you Rohan or Rohit? Are you sure you’re not the other one? It never really bothered me — but these days, my brother and I are working toward a different kind of question. We want to create films and content that make people pause and ask: “Who made this?”

I’ve spent over 13 years in the film world, two feature films and 50+ ad films across production houses and agencies — an experience that gave me the confidence, exposure, and glorious chaos needed to start something of my own.
Somewhere along the way, I co-founded a production company with my twin brother, directed The Insignificant (which won Best Director – Jury at the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival), and even took a detour to Paris for a summer film program — just to shake things up and soak in some global film flavour.

Now, I’ve teamed up with long-time collaborators to build something bigger; ‘WHO MADE THIS’ a company that blends our love for storytelling with all the brand experience we’ve gathered over the years. We’re here to create work that’s bold, clean, and full of heart.

As for me — I’m a bit shy, pretty chatty once I warm up, and quietly wild (so I’ve been told). I believe in getting things done, growing together, and making room for a little magic along the way. When I’m not on set or in meetings, you’ll probably find me on my farm, knee-deep in mud or travelling looking out for stories to tell or be a part of.

Usually the one behind the camera, quietly making sure things look sharp and run smooth.

I’ve been in the film and content space for over a decade now. I started out like most – learning the ropes on set, assisting, observing, and slowly figuring out what really speaks to me. Over time, I found myself drawn to brand storytelling – the challenge of balancing creativity with a clear message. In 2017, I teamed up with my twin brother to start our first production company, and we had the chance to work with some amazing clients.

While branded work is where I’ve spent most of my time, I’ve always tried to keep one foot in the world of narrative – whether it’s directing short films, exploring documentary formats, or just staying curious about new ways to tell a story. I’m not someone who needs chaos to be creative – I actually enjoy bringing a bit of calm into the madness of a production day.

I’m a visual thinker, a patient problem-solver, and I love the process as much as the outcome. I like having fun while I work. When I’m not on set or editing something, you’ll probably find me lost in my farm, listening to a podcast, watching obscure documentaries, or bouncing around new ideas with the team.

I believe in clean work, collaborative energy, and building a team that grows together. There’s a lot more I want to explore – and I’m excited about where we’re headed.
